This event will cover the history of Bell Miner Associated Dieback (BMAD) on the North Coast, contemporary research, bell miner behaviour, susceptible tree species and forest types and best practice management.
BMAD is listed as a key threatening process under the NSW Threatened Species Conservation Act. It is known to directly impact Koala habitat and threatened vegetation communities including Grey Box—Grey Gum Wet Sclerophyll Forest and White Gum Moist Forest in the NSW North Coast Bioregion.
