The Great Southern BioBlitz will be taking place from the 22 to 25 of October 2021. Over four days, this Citizen Science event will take place throughout the southern hemisphere, with ecologists, zoologists, botanists (and many other fields…can’t list them all!), and people from all walks of life will be recording wildlife in their local area. This may be anything from a World Heritage listed National Park to someone’s urban back yard - and everything in between.

Despite the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, BRRVLN aims to make its own small contribution to this important snapshot of our unique flora and fauna. Over the coming days, we will make survey tools available to local groups and provide assistance in running small events in their area.
